Madrichim serve as role models, assistants to our teachers and essential help at The Temple-Tifereth Israel Learning Center. To be eligible for the Madrichim program you must attend Chai School with consistent attendance. Please note that 7th grade students who attend our Chai School on Sundays are not eligible to be madrichim on Sundays.
As a madrich/a, there are opportunities to work Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and/or Wednesdays. Madrichim assist in learning spaces, the office or as specialists.
B’tzelem- Jewish Teen Learning Companions: This program of the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland is designed to help create a more inclusive environment. The program matches teens with children who would benefit from individual attention. There is an additional training commitment. Includes additional compensation.
Hebrew Flash Mob: A special team of madrichim will be trained to work with small groups of students to boost their Hebrew decoding through hands on activities or computer games.
