Join us for a Gertrude Stein-inspired salon, with a poetry slam, good conversation, a resource fair, refreshments, and special drinks as we conclude our Warhol event series and kick off LGBTQ Pride Month.

Andy Warhol wasn’t alone in considering Gertrude Stein an icon! For 100 years, generations of writers and artists, art collectors, LGBTQ activists, and feminists have viewed Stein as an inspiration. She lived in Paris as an independent woman and an out lesbian before either was accepted. She was an experimental writer of everything from poetry to memoir to opera. She was a tastemaker, collecting art and hosting a salon for the era’s now-legendary artists and writers, including the American expats Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. Inspired by Stein, let’s party like it’s the 1920s!
