The Racial Justice Book Discussion group will meet remotely in April. We’ll be discussing a short movie and a documentary in light of recent news events. The Present is a 24-minute, Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning short film from 2020 directed by Farah Nabulsi. It’s free to watch on Prime Video.
The Gatekeepers is a documentary from 2012, also nominated for an Oscar, which features interviews of six former heads of Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security agency. It’s available to rent for $2.99 on Prime.
