All of our programs offer a variety of options to meet your family’s needs and to make learning more accessible. Please note that you must be a 2022-2023 member of The Temple to register for The Learning Center. If you have any questions, just let us know!
Pre-K Through 6th Grade
Select either Shabbaton or Sunday Learning:
SHABBATON
Saturday afternoons: 3:00-5:30 pm (A family learning experience)
Shabbaton is a weekly family experience that provides Jewish education and community-building for both children and adults through worship, study and group projects. In learning together about how to model Jewish family life for future generations, participants establish lasting friendships with each other and strong bonds with the Temple community. Learn more.

SUNDAY LEARNING
Sunday mornings: 9:30 am-12:00 pm (Student cohorts – Hebrew and Judaic Studies)
Engaging and creative grade-level learning experiences are at the heart of Sunday Learning. Music, creative arts, and experiential Hebrew enhance the morning. Teens have an opportunity to work as madrichim (teaching assistants).
3rd through 6th grade learners are required choose an additional Hebrew option:
Wednesday Hebrew: Children attend Shabbaton or Sunday Learning and Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 pm. This includes Tefillah Tech where children work together to create large scale projects (like games, art walks, movies and more.)
OR
Skype/Zoom Hebrew: Along with children learning Hebrew during Shabbaton or Sunday Learning, the Skype/Zoom option is a 20 minute private lesson midweek and 30 minutes of independent practice at home. There is an additional $175 fee for Skype/Zoom. Previous participants will be able to select Skype/Zoom times starting Monday, June 27th. New participants will select times starting July 5th.
Parent Child Hebrew (only for Sunday Learning Families grades 5 and 6 who have previously participated) Children and parent/s attend Hebrew during Sunday Learning. This option is for families who want to learn together and spend 30-45 minutes a week reviewing the lessons at home. There is an additional $35 fee.
7th Grade
Sunday morning OR Monday evening
Both include Hebrew Lab (prayer review to build upon the Hebrew skills)

Exciting opportunity beginning in 7th grade!
Students who choose Monday Night Learning can volunteer to be teaching assistants (Madrichim) on Sunday mornings.
8th – 12th Grade
Monday Chai Learning: 6:00-7:45 pm
We are committed to giving our teens a meaningful journey where we explore compelling ideas and engage in sophisticated global concepts and conversations.

Kallah: Retreat-Style Learning
We meet six times during the year on the weekend. Each session is four hours in length.
