Dina Rock joins The Temple following a 32 year career teaching in the classroom in both the public and private sectors. Dina earned her Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University and her Master’s in Education from John Carroll University. Dina’s classroom experience has been in educating diverse populations from kindergarten through sixth grade. As a consultant to organizations in public policy and education reform, she worked closely with educators on a national and state level. In 2021 she published her first children’s book, Ezra’s Invisible Backpack, creating concrete language to bring awareness and promote positive mental health for children and adults. Dina believes the message of a story can inspire and empower someone to believe in themselves, and connect to the world around them. Dina strives to maximize the individual potential of the whole child by creating a nurturing and engaging environment. “It is my passion to educate children to think critically, care deeply, question unendingly, feel intensely, and communicate clearly and openly. I strive to help each student maximize their unique and promising character.” Dina is a proud mom of two sons, Brandon and Logan, and lives in Solon, Ohio, with her incredibly supportive husband and adorable dog Ella.
