Social Action

Our mission is to improve the lives of others by engaging our Temple Community through volunteer actions while developing enduring personal connections.

We invite you to get involved in our various Social Justice Projects and Initiatives. For more general information please contact Faith Schaffer, chair of our Social Action Committee.

Supporting Israeli Teen Campers at Camp Wise

Our synagogue family is mobilizing to provide welcome kits for 25 Israeli teens, many of whom are coming from Kibbutz Kissufim and Kibbutz Be’eri. These young teens were directly impacted from the attacks on October 7. Your generosity will enable The Temple to provide items such as linen sets, sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, towels, laundry bags, raincoats and more to be packaged in personalized welcome kits for each Israeli teen guest!

Sponsored by 10.7 Israel Task Force, Social Action, The Temple Woman’s Association (TWA) and Temple Brotherhood.
