TAP Into Your Love Of The Arts
TAP, or the Temple Arts Program, is back in business! After a 30-month hiatus, we are ready to welcome our talented temple musicians into our renewed, bustling, temple schedule. Do you love to sing? Do you play an instrument? Our three congregational choirs and our two instrumental ensembles will rehearse and perform from September through May. We have a front row seat reserved for you!
If you are interested in participating in any of our programs, please reach out to Joanna Cullinan at jcullinan@ttti.org or 216-455-1694. Rehearsal and performance dates coming soon!

Congregational Choir
Directed by Cantor Sebo
The Congregational Choir is an opportunity for adults who love to sing. Adults and teens are invited to join us as we explore a variety of Jewish musical genres and composers. The research-backed benefits of group singing are numerous and extend to both body and mind — communal singing calms the heart rate, boosts the immune system, and releases feel-good neurochemicals like endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin.
The only requirement is a love of music and singing!
Youth Choir
Directed by Cantor Sebo
Youth Choir is a fun, musical experience for our Temple kids in grades 1-6. On designated Sundays, following our Temple Learning Center session, the Youth Choir will meet for a pizza lunch followed by a 1-hour rehearsal. As our Youth Choir builds a wonderful repertoire of songs, they also build wonderful and lasting friendships.
Kol Isha
Directed by Cantor Sebo
Kol Isha means “voice of the woman.” Kol Isha is our women’s choir and this ensemble focuses on Jewish, Broadway, and popular music, much of which is composed by Jewish women. Like our Congregational Choir, this group is comprised of enthusiastic participants who simply love to sing.
Klez U
Klez U. is our teen instrumental ensemble. It is under the direction of internationally renowned Klezmer violinist, Steven Greenman and is open to students in grades 7- 12. Like our Youth Choir, Klez U. meets on designated Sundays for a pizza lunch followed by a rehearsal. If you play an instrument and have ever wondered what is out there musically beyond your high school or middle school band, Steven Greenman and his Klezmer arrangements will open your eyes and ears to a whole new world.
The Ensemble
The Ensemble is our adult instrumental group under the direction of Dr. Marshall Griffith. Marshall’s creative energy is contagious as he arranges pieces by some of the greatest Jewish composers and artists of our time. In recent years, The Ensemble has worked with Marshall on selections from the Broadway stage, film, and popular song. How many years has it been since you dusted off that old clarinet? Marshall can help get you back in shape regardless of what instrument you play. Rehearsals are on designated Sundays mornings.
